Canon is one of the top of the line digital cameras. But they tend to be a little too pricy. Due to the cost, the Canon would be our second choice for ghost hunting.

I like the eayshare brand line. They are not over priced, easy to use and compact in size.

If your going to purchase a camera for home and ghost hunting, then consider spending a little more and go for the Sony. However, these will make your cry when you drop and shatter them on a ghost hunt. For that reason, I would never use one of these on a ghost hunt.

Yea yea, we know the arguments for using film. You get a negative. blah, blah, blah. While you wait a couple of days to get your film back- not to mention the cost of the film- we will have all of our pictures reviewed. We always make a copy of every media card right after the hunt. So if some one is going to fake a picture then the also have to break into our computer and change that photo as well. Do yourself a favor, go digital.

If you are going to be shooting film you will need at least a 400 speed film. The 1000 speed is fun to play with for a time or two. When we did use film we only used Fuji.
