Photographic Findings:

The below photographs were taken in the basement. There was two investigators in the basement at the time stationed in different parts of the basement. The female investigator called the male investigator over. In the area below, she claimed to have see a figure of a woman crouched down on the floor staring up at her. The photographs were taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-H9 8MP Digital Camera with 15x Optical Image Stabilization Zoom using the night shot feature of the camera. No flash or other light sources was used. It should also should be noted that these photographs were submitted to Sony and they have no explanation.

The photographs were taken only seconds after the reported encounter took place:

The first photograph shows something that appears to be coming up from the floor. Notice that this object can not be seen through except for the very top part of the image.

The next photograph was taken in fast frame advance of the camera. Notice the object is much smaller and has moved off to the left side of the door frame. Also note that the objects in the back ground do not show motion blur.

The final two photographs were also part of the same frame bust shots that captured the top two photographs; there is nothing.

After these photograph were taken the two investigators verified there was no one else in the basement and they left the area. About 5 minutes later the investigator asked the witness to describe the women that she had seen crouched on the floor.

The description that was given was of a woman with deep sunken eyes, small nose, hair that was curly and pulled back on the sides like it might have been in a bow. She also described the face as rounded. After doing some research with the museum staff the below photograph was verified by the witness as the woman that she saw. This photograph was not seen by the witness prior to the investigation or to the interview. As you can see, the photograph matches the description.

Information from the Museum on the person photographed above:

The picture is Louella Mohr Sullivan, wife of Daniel who built this house.  She was born in 1857, in Bellefontaine and married Daniel in 1879.  She was a gifted artist and active in social services.  Died 1947

"At the Sullivan Johnson Museum in Kenton, anomalous footsteps have been heard. A docent also said that a tour of children walked into the sitting room and found a woman who matched the description of Mrs. Sullivan, the artist for whom the house was built. The woman disappeared."

We have just found out that the same woman reported in the Haunted Ohio V book was the woman that was reported to have been seen in the basement during our investigation.
